Altstadthaus Burkheim - Come in, take a deep breath and feel at home. Our lovingly renovated vacation home from 1720 is located in the middle of the picturesque old town of Burkheim - right next to the historic castle wall, the imposing castle ruins. The house combines the charm of past centuries with modern comfort and is ideal for anyone looking for something special. Nestled between romantic alleyways, sunny vineyards and fantastic cycling and hiking trails, the house offers the perfect retreat for up to four people. Just a few minutes' walk away is not only a popular bathing lake, but also the Rheinwald - an idyllic wooded area that leads directly to the Rhine. From there, you can take wonderful evening walks along the embankment and even to France - with a view of the river towards the sunset. Freiburg can be reached in just 20 minutes - as can charming Colmar on the French side. A private parking lot directly on the street in front of the house ensures a comfortable arrival - and as a special extra, a small, exclusive fitness studio is available for the exclusive use of our guests. Note on room layout & feel-good atmosphere: Our apartment offers two cozy bedrooms to ensure a good night's sleep. Please note that the second bedroom is located on an open gallery above the master bedroom and is not separated by a lockable door. This special architecture gives the house an airy, open feeling of space - perfect for families or close travel companions who appreciate a harmonious atmosphere. There is also a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, which can be used as an additional sleeping option.
